NCPA Coronavirus Updates

All in-person Newman Center events through December 31, 2020 have been canceled or postponed. This includes Newman Center Presents, Lamont, DU Theatre, and third-party rental client events.

  • We’re currently working with agents and rental clients to determine the feasibility of rescheduling the events that are scheduled for the next several weeks and months.
  • Ticket holders for affected events will receive communications specific to each event with further instructions and information. Please wait to contact the box office until you receive an email with instructions specific to your event.
  • We value your patience while we process ticket transactions. Please know that we are working as quickly as possible while still taking care to keep our staff safe and healthy.
  • Affected events will continue to be evaluated on an ongoing basis, and we’ll keep ticket holders informed of plans.

Newman Center and the University of Denver are committed to the health and safety of everyone on campus. DU is working closely with local and state public health officials to monitor the coronavirus outbreak and is following guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Denver Public Health. CANCELLATION UPDATE

All Newman Center events through May 10 have been canceled or postponed. This includes Newman Center Presents, Lamont, DU Theatre, and third party rental client events.

  • We value your patience while we process thousands of ticket transactions related to upcoming shows. Please know that we are working as quickly as possible while still taking care to keep our staff safe and healthy.
  • Affected will continue to be evaluated on an ongoing basis, and we’ll keep ticket holders informed of plans.

Newman Center and the University of Denver are committed to the health and safety of everyone on campus. DU is working closely with local and state public health officials to monitor the coronavirus outbreak and is following guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Denver Public Health. This situation could change rapidly, and we will continue to update our community as we receive new information. More information on the DU response is located here.

Newman Center and DU clean and disinfect all bathrooms, surfaces, and buildings daily. Additional hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the venue. We have asked that staff and volunteers remain at home if they are feeling ill or may have been exposed to illness.

All of our events are currently proceeding as scheduled. However, we encourage patrons who are not feeling well, are at high risk, or are uncomfortable attending public events, to stay at home. We understand that you may need to make alternative plans. If you would like to exchange your tickets for a future show this season, or to donate your tickets, please email newmanboxoffice@du.edu or call 303-871-7720. Ticket transfers may also be done by logging into your online account and going to My Account > Transfer my Tickets. Exchanges must be made prior to your scheduled performance. If the situation changes and we must cancel or reschedule events, we will contact ticket holders by email and phone in advance of your ticketed event date. You may also check the Newman Center website and our social media channels for schedule updates.
