During the day, Ashley Wald is a corporate partner in the Denver office of Holland & Hart LLP where she provides sophisticated guidance to clients in the solar, wind, hydropower, and natural gas industries as they develop energy projects and related infrastructure across the United States. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Ashley was an associate at the Beijing, China office of DLA Piper, where she represented international venture capital firms investing in Chinese companies. She occasionally presents on topics associated with doing business in China.  When not serving her clients, Ashley is a mom of three amazing children and, along with her husband, University of Denver Sturm College of Law professor Eli Wald, an advocate for the arts throughout Colorado.  She is an alumni of the CBCA leadership training program, is currently a board member of the Hannah Kahn Dance Company, and has been a long-time supporter of Wonderbound. She runs a non-profit called the Holland & Hart Foundation, whose mission is to create volunteers opportunities for lawyers, staff and alumni at Holland & Hart LLP, and she served for seven years on the board of the Dumb Friends League.
