Enjoy chamber music in the heart of Denver, Colorado. Featuring world-class classical chamber musicians and soloists, the Denver Chamber Music Festival features two performances at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts on June 10 and 11 in the intimate Hamilton Hall. All tickets ($25) are general admission.

Let’s Celebrate” is the spirited conclusion of the 2022 Denver Chamber Music Festival, and includes works by Harry Burleigh, Antonin Dvořák, and Felix Mendelssohn. Burleigh introduced Dvorak to Black American music and spirituals, and the two had an important musical relationship in the late 19th century.  The program concludes with Mendelssohn’s energized and masterful String Quintet op. 87 in B-flat major.

Denver Chamber Music Festival presents internationally renowned musicians, including local favorites, in thematic, world-class chamber music summer concerts. While there are opportunities to experience chamber music in Denver throughout the academic year, there is little focus on it during the summer. Committed to building a diverse chamber music audience, Denver Chamber Music Festival strives to fill this void with a festival experience combining cherished chamber music favorites with works by new and living composers, creating a unique and gratifying concert experience for the Denver community.
