Julio Martinez Coronado is a performance-driven, solutions-focused Multicultural Engagement, Communications, and Community Outreach Leader at Denver Health. His 11+ years in Marketing/Communications has resulted in a strong record of maximizing community engagement, customer satisfaction, and marketing growth in national and international markets. Under his leadership, Denver Health has seen the largest ever single-year increase for its Facebook page, almost doubling the total follower count. Julio is an energetic team builder and marketing evangelist who motivates, inspires, and builds deep collaborative relationships within and across teams.

Julio connects, develops and executes marketing and communication strategies that attract Hispanic communities, working to develop supplemental diversity strategies alongside English-language or general non- culturally diverse campaigns. Julio’s efforts to reach the Hispanic Community resulted in a comprehensive understanding of the Hispanic market in Denver and the creation of personas to considerably improve the outcomes of the marketing strategy for this audience.

Julio has served as Director and Choreographer for Studio Colombia, a cultural dance organization, which highlights and promotes Hispanic culture in North America by showcasing a variety of musical rhythms and genres focusing on Colombian folkloric dances and traditions. He has been recognized by the ASOCOCO, The Colombian Association for Colombians in Denver, for his work and positive impact with this community.

Julio hold a B.S. in communications and journalism from Universidad Santo Tomas (The University of St. Thomas) | Bogotá, Colombia and a B.A. in accounting and business administration from Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje Sena (National Learning Center) | Bogotá, Colombia. He is also an alumnus of the University of Denver’s Latino Leadership Institute.
