Based in Los Angeles, and led by Sasha Gorskaya and Gulya Hartwick, the World Ballet Company presents the most beloved and iconic ballets of our time in cities nationwide. Driven by the belief that ballet is for everyone, performances appeal to newcomers and seasoned ballet goers alike. The company attracts many international artists and comprises renowned professional dancers representing over ten countries. To date, World Ballet Company has traveled to more than 300 cities, reaching an audience of more than 500,000, many of whom are first-time attendees to a ballet.
The year is 1962 and C.S. Lewis, the famous British author, is in the twilight years of his life. He is hosting a group of American writers at his home just outside of Oxford. They have come to hear him speak about the significant events and the people that shaped his life.
As it is Christmas time, Lewis also reflects on how he views this festive season. As one would expect from a gifted speaker the audience are treated to a display of oratory and humor that made Lewis one of England's most famous public speakers.
