Music Creators Camp

Music Creators Camp 2024

Two Sessions:  June 10-14 & June 17-21

North High School

From writing melodies and lyrics, to recording instruments and beats, Music Creators (MC) gives campers (students 13-16 years old) of all abilities a crash course in producing and crafting music of their own. Campers have a hands-on experience with the latest music technology, learning techniques for composition, recording and production shared by professional musicians, composers and educators from the local music community. MC embraces a growth and open mindset, allowing for experimentation while having a great time doing so. Each camper will finish the session with a portfolio of original digital music, and the tools to continue to explore their own musical journey. With instruction coming from the staff and faculty at the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music and the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, students can find their own unique voices as artists and music-makers.

Register todayCamp is $475 with needs-based scholarships available. Questions? luke.wachter@du.edu.

"The instructors were kind to me and helped me to understand the lessons and take my learning to the next level."

"It was a great opportunity for our kid to explore music creation and music theory since our kid doesn't sing or play an instrument but loves music."
