Education

As a cultural cornerstone of a vibrant and diverse 21st-century Denver, the Newman Center offers enriching programming and educational opportunities for learners of all ages. In the 2024–2025 season alone, the Center served over 6,800 K–12 students (50% from Title I schools), educators, and community members through student matinees, master classes, artist residencies, Musical Explorers, summer camps, and professional development programs. Thanks to generous support from donors to the Newman Center Education Fund, most of these offerings are provided free of charge. Committed to equity in arts education, the Newman Center delivers experiences that reflect students’ lives while opening windows to new cultures and ideas.
