Invest in the Performing Arts for All

No matter the size or type of support, your investment is essential in programming and performances that engages artists and thinkers from around the globe for performances and masterclasses at the Newman Center and in classrooms across Colorado. For 22 years, your ongoing support has sustained our venue that serves students and faculty at the Lamont School of Music, DU’s Theatre Department, and many beloved arts organizations in our community.

Major Funds

Your generosity makes it possible to present a rich array of extraordinary artists while growing and expanding programs that provide access to arts education in Colorado public schools.

Support Artistic Programming through the Newman Center Presents Fund

Donors to the Newman Center Presents Fund supports performing arts programming that is reflective of the many cultures and customs celebrated across Colorado. This annual fund allows your donation to be used for programs such as the Newman Center Presents series that features world-renowned and up-and-coming artists such as Maria Schneider Orchestra, Samara Joy and the famed Martha Graham Dance Company.

Support our K-12th grade Education Programming through the Newman Center Education Fund

Through our student matinee series, master classes, Musical Explorers program, and professional development opportunities for K-12 teachers, we provide art education programming that is accessible for free or low cost to schools, reflective of the participating students and expands how the arts can be integrated across school subjects. The Education Fund covers the cost of these programs, ensuring that students can participate in arts educational programming.

Community Reports

Discover your generosity in action and learn more about the Newman Center’s artistic, educational, community, and university impact in our community reports. Due to the partial cancellation of our 2019-2020 season and the entire 2020-2021 season, there exists a lapse in community reports. Thank you to our many donors and volunteers who make the Newman Center an outstanding performing arts presenting organization.

We are grateful for your continued support!
