Get ready to dance and party to the music of The Spanish Harlem Orchestra & The Sam Mayfield Blues Revue while enjoying wine tastings, delicious food, and a fantastic auction. Spanish Harlem Orchestra, the three-time Grammy® winning Salsa and Latin Jazz band, sets the gold standard for excellence in authentic, New York style, hard-core salsa. Now celebrating 25 years of excellence, SHO, as they are known to fans, is dedicated to the sounds of the barrio (Spanish Harlem, NYC). Their music is characterized by the raw, organic, and vintage sound defined by the genre. Sam Mayfield Blues Revue is returning to the Signature Fundraiser this year with a lineup that promises to kick the party off! Denver-born Sam Mayfield doesn’t hail from the Delta, but he knows the blues intimately. Mayfield’s voice and vast blues library make him a walking Smithsonian.

The Dancing with the Denver Stars Gala is the premier fundraiser for CPRD. This year’s Gala funds will be used to support community programs including education and well-being. 100% of proceeds from this event will support our work in the community, including offering paid internships, and funding health, movement and well-being events not only in Denver Metro but numerous rural areas around Colorado. This will be the 15th anniversary of Dancing With the Denver Stars where they will be Celebrating Girl Groups: from Doo-Wop to Hip-Hop.

Multi instrumentalist and saxophonist Eric Trujillo returns to the stage at Dazzle leading his first jazz quintet in 25 years. Eric has been running a family string instrument making shop MiVidastrings and performing as a Latin music artist in recent years but is excited to return to Dazzle to perform A classic collection of beautiful standards, re-imagined popular and Latin songs. The quintet features a young lion ensemble featuring Sonya Walker on piano, Patrick McDevitt-bass, Alejandro Castano-drums and percussion and 18 year old multi instrumentalist Daniel Trujillo-vibes, melodica and percussion. (This performance will be listener friendly for those with auditory sensitivity or hearing impairment).
