Danielle Wertz is an award-winning artist rapidly gaining national acclaim. Described as, "untarnished by the politics of music" (Jazz Music Archives) and "at home alongside more contemporary exponents of improvised singing" (LoudMouth, AU) she is known for blending modern jazz and folk to create intimate and emotionally resonant compositions. After being named a Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocals Competition semi-finalist, Danielle’s debut album, Intertwined, ranked #4 on Capital Bop's list of "Best DC Jazz Albums of 2017.” That same year Danielle placed 2nd in the Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition and 3rd in the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Vocal Competition. Remy Le Boeuf is a 4x Grammy-nominated composer and saxophonist whose music is rooted in the jazz tradition and overlaps into contemporary classical and indie-rock realms. Le Boeuf is also the founder of the jazz orchestra, Assembly of Shadows, and the Chief Conductor of the Nordkraft Big Band. He has worked with a range of collaborators including the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Linda Oh, Dayna Stephens, Haim, Knower, JACK Quartet, and his twin brother Pascal, with whom he co-leads the experimental quintet, Le Boeuf Brothers.
