For the second consecutive summer, the Newman Center proudly presents Music Creators, a summer day camp for 13-16 year olds that provides a crash course in producing and crafting music. Taking place at North High School, the camp is staffed by members of the faculty and staff of the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music and the Newman Center. Students can find their own unique voices as artists and music-makers during this unique camp offering taking place the weeks of June 10 and 17 (two separate sessions).

Luke Wachter, the camp's director and the Newman Center's Associate Director of Educational Initiatives, recently sat down with the KUVO Jazz morning show to discuss the experience. Listen here

Registration is open and need-based scholarships are available for all. Learn more about Music Creator right here.
