Lamont School of Music
The Lamont School of Music students, faculty members and guest artists perform on the concert and recital hall stages of the Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts, one of the nation’s most extraordinary campus arts centers. Audiences select from 300 concerts and events each season featuring the repertoires of orchestras, choirs, jazz ensembles, world music and operas.

Faculty Artists Recital Series: Tribute to Chick Corea
Chick Corea, widely recognized as one of the most influential figures in jazz, was a pianist, composer, and bandleader. He was a pioneer of jazz fusion, blending jazz with rock, classical, and Latin music, and was a key member of Miles Davis's band during the late 1960s, contributing to the birth of the fusion movement.
Join four members of Lamont’s jazz faculty for an evening in honor of this jazz great!
