The Lamont School of Music students, faculty members and guest artists perform on the concert and recital hall stages of the Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts, one of the nation’s most extraordinary campus arts centers. Audiences select from 300 concerts and events each season featuring the repertoires of orchestras, choirs, jazz ensembles, world music and operas.
Join us for this annual favorite presented by Lamont voice students! The program include scenes from Don Giovanni and a second half of Leonard Bernstein selections from Candide, West Side Story, and Trouble in Tahiti.
The program will feature the winner of the DU Solo Honors Competition: Dylan Tyree performing Dvorak's Cello Concerto, conducted by Brett Mitchell. Plus, Suppé’s "Overture to the Pique Dame" conducted by Joseph Reyna and Haydn's Symphony No. 104 “London" conducted by Cosima Luther.
